The Yiros Shop
Yiros are a Greek staple, so when Nick and Jimmy realized there was a gap in the Australian market for traditional Greek Yiros, they tapped into their generations of knowledge in cooking Greek favorites and brought it to the streets of Queensland. These guys are committed to creating high-quality food that brings people together, just like it does in their own family.
Our task was to create brand assets aimed at telling their story. Nick and Jimmy have been surrounded by food their entire lives, from their family’s fish and chip shop to family gatherings. Food and family are central to their lives, and we wanted the brand assets to reflect this connection.
We asked them to dive into their old family albums and select images that helped tell their story for use across their brand touchpoints. We paired these images with a series of icons that represent Greek culture and their cherished family memories. These icons are used both independently and within a unique and distinctive brand pattern. To bring a homely touch to the brand we housed these assets within a boardered frame that payes homage to picture frames.
We developed copylines that infuse personality and bring the brand imagery to life. These lines work effectively on their own or when paired with branded assets.
